Bhai Harcharanjit Singh Dhami told SikhSiyasat Network over phone that a meeting was held at Jalandhar yesterday which was attended by many representatives of Panthic organization and action plan to secure peaceful Punjab bandh has been chalked. ‘Punjab Bandh call given by Dal Khalsa and Khalsa Action committee is accepted as a common decision by whole Panth and all stand united on this matter’ he added. As per our reports yesterday’s meetings was attended by representatives of Dal Khalsa, Khalsa Action Committee, Shiromani Akali Dal (Panch Pardhani), Sikh Students Federation, Sikh Youth Federation and Sikh Youth of Punjab. It is strange that SGPC and Badal Dal have not issued any version regarding this cause.

On the other hand Indian agencies and a section of media is trying to create terror among people of Punjab. ‘Baseless stories regarding so-called terror attacks are published by a section of Indian print media to terrorize the people of Punjab as they are frustrated over overwhelming response given to Punjab bandh call by people of Punjab.’ said Parmjeet Singh Gazi, President of Sikh Students Federation in statement. ‘Media is trying to popularize baseless stories with reference to so-called ‘sources’ and secrete intelligence reports.’ he added. It is learnt that a Punjabi Newspaper named Jag Bani has published a report yesterday that IB (Intelligence Bureau) in one of its’ secret report sent to Home Ministry has feared a (so-called) terrorist attack on the eve of Punjab Bandh on November 3, 2009. SSF president asked that how the facts reported directly to Home ministry by India’s main secret intelligence agency are known to reporter of a local Punjabi newspaper? He said that it is a conspiracy hatched between media doing embedded journalism and Indian agencies to terrorize the people of Punjab.
