Chandigarh/ Punjab (May 16, 2014): According to available elections trends Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) is leading for a clear majority in Indian Parliamentary elections 2014.
At the time of writing this news trends were available from 519 seats out of 543 seats. Trends show that BJP+ is leading on 297 seats. Indian National Congress is leading on 79 seats. Other parties are leading on 140 seats and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is leading on 3 seats.
Interestingly all 3 seats where AAP is leading are from Punjab. There are 13 Lok Sabha seats in Punjab. Trends show that Badal-BJP combine was leading on 6 seats whereas Congress was leading on 4 seats.
