Moga/New Delhi (June 07, 2014): In a bid to keep the party united and to make a full stop on the infighting, the Aam Aadmi Party has rejected the resignations submitted by its leaders Yogendra Yadav and Naveen Jaihind on Saturday.
While talking to media, AAP leader Prashant Bhushan said that the party requested both top leaders to withdraw their resignations and they agreed reportedly.
The AAP is facing crisis of infighting since it lost all seats across the country except of those four from Punjab. Top leader Shazia Ilmi had resigned earlier while these both leaders were at logger heads over defeat in Haryana.
However, AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal had tweeted that Yadav was a dear friend and he raised some issues, which were to be sorted out. Yadav had resigned from the membership of the party’s political affairs committee taking responsibility for the poor performance in Haryana in the Lok Sabha elections on May 31.
