AAP’s Jarnail Singh Journalist leading from Rajauri Garden; Badal’s Sirsa trailing now

New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party’s candidate Jarnail Singh is leading from Rajauri Garden constituency of Delhi Assembly elections with 28,608 votes. Shiromani Akali Dal (Badal) candidate Manjinder Singh Sirsa is trailing from this seat. Sirsa has secured 26,393 votes so far.

Aam Aadmi Party’s candidate Jarnail Singh (Journalist) had hit headlines when he hurled a shoe at the then Union home minister P Chidambram in 2009 over inaction in the 1984 Sikh genocide related cases.

Manjider Singh Sirsa is considered to be richest candidate in Delhi poll fray. He came into politics in 2007 and became general secretary of the DSGMC and an MLA in 2013. He also remained councilor.
