Mansa (September 16, 2009) At village Karamgarh Aautanwali, after Bhog of Sri Akhand Paath, Antim Ardas is held for S. Jaspal Singh Alias Pali who died under mysterious circumstances few days back. Jaspal was found dead on a railway track near Bathinda on intervening night between 5 and 6 September. After police crackdown on members and workers of Shiromani Akali Dal (A) Panch Pardhani at the instance of Punjab Government many leaders and workers of Panch Pardhani are arrested by Police including Party chairman Bhai Daljeet Singh Bittu. Mansa Police twice came in search of Jaspal Singh to his house. Firstly on 2nd Sept. three police employees visited Pali’s house and asked his parents to bring him to Police station for investigations. Then on 4 September, 2009 police first came to Village Gurudwara Sahib at around 4 am in search of Jaspal Singh and then raided his house and searched his room.
