Australian Sikhs to hold Sikh Genocide memorial march on Dec. 13

Melbourne: Australian Sikhs will be observing December 13 as the ‘Sikh Genocide remember day’ and a march will be organized to remember the victims of the Sikh Genocide of 1984. One of the organizers told Sikh Siyasat News (SSN) that the Sikh Genocide Remembrance March will begin at 9 am at State Library of Victoria.

The march will be attended by Sikh Community Leaders from all around Australia, he added.

As per information the list of speakers on the event to be held to remember the victims of Sikh Genocide 1984 include Mr. Warren Entsch MP-Liberals, Janet Rice of The Greens (Senator for Victoria), Mr. Adam Mara (Labor Representative – Office of Mr Rob Mitchell MP), Mr. Jagmeet Singh (MP-Canada), Mr Jatinder Singh (Sikhs for Justice) Harinder Singh (CEO -SIKH-RI), Robby Thorpe (Aboriginal Leader), Mr. Aran (Tamil Leader), Dr. Amarjeet Singh (TV84 and Khalistan Affairs Center) and an Amnesty International Representative through Videolink.
