New Delhi, India (August 29, 2013): According to a written statement (dated: August 28, 2013) sent to Sikh Siyasat News (SSN) by Manpreet Singh Khalsa from Delhi, Bhai Jagtar Singh Hawara was presented before the court of Daya Parkash under tight security in relation to a case (FIR No. 229/05) under section 307 of Indian Penal Code.
As per information Bhai Jagtar Singh Hawara paid tributes to Bhai Gurbax Singh Hijacker who passed away few days back. Bhai Gurbax Singh had hijacked an Air India plane in 1982 to highlight excesses committed on Sikhs by the Indian state. He did it just with a cloth ball and no one was injured in this incident.
Bhai Jagtar Singh Hawara issued an appeal to the Sikhs to stop exchanging allegations over social-networking websites like Facebook and join hands for the cause of the Sikh nation.
