Bathinda: Punjab’s ruling party Shiromani Akali Dal (Badal) has invokes all it’s resources to show it’s strength at Sadbhavna rally that is going to be held at Bathinda today. The administration has reportedly made heavy arrangements to make the rally a success.
On the other hand former leader of Shiromani Akali Dal (Mann) Bhai Dhian Singh Mand, who was appointed as acting Jathedar of Akal Takhat Sahib, has called for Punjab shut down today. In wake of this call the Shiromani Akali Dal Amritsar (Mann), along with some other associate groups, have announced to limit the Punjab Bandh call to blocking roads throughout Punjab.
As per information the Punjab police today put S. Simranjeet Singh Mann under house in wake of Punjab Bandh calls. The is reported have have raided houses of Sikh activists to prevent them from enforcing Punjab Band call.
