Sangrur: Under fire from the ruling party leaders for allegedly coming drunk to events, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MP Bhagwant Mann yesterday hit back by challenged Deputy CM Sukhbir Badal to get a dope test done.
“Let us have a dope test of all leaders (in Punjab). I will be the first to give my blood for the test. I urge you and other leaders to get a dope test done,” Bhagwant Mann said in a video uploaded on his Facebook page.
Challenging Sukhbir Badal and other leaders, Mann said: “You must realize that in a dope test, drug abuse of over one year shows up.
“Just by getting effigies (of your opponents) burnt by your supporters will not solve anything. Know the ground reality,” Mann said.
Bhagwant Mann claimed that Sukhbir Badal was linked to drug abuse on social media. “This is a great opportunity for you. You should get your blood tested and make its report public so that you can clear your name,” he added.
