Chandigarh (August 03, 2014): Indian National Lok Dal, a regional party led by Chautala family of Haryana, has declared to annul Haryana Sikh Gurdwara Prabhandak Committee (HSGPC), that was recently passed by Haryana state assembly.

The statute was caught into controversy as it craved out HSGPC out-of Shiromani Gurdwara Prabhandak Committee (SGPC).

INLO legislator along with Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) had staged walkout as a token of their protest against formation of HSGPC.

It may be recalled that Chautalas’ party has close proximity with Punjab chief minister Parkash Singh Badal and his party, Shiromani Akali Dal (Badal); and Badal Dal has been opposing formation of HSGPC.

INLO has included a clause in it’s election manifesto that it would annul HSPGC Act, if to comes in to power.
