Derby Sangat to mark 29th anniversary of Sikh Genocide 1984; S. Ajmer Singh to deliver special lecture

Sikh Genocide Lecture EventLeicester, United Kingdom (November 8, 2013): It is learnt that Sikh sangat at Derby (UK) shall mark the 29th anniversary of the Sikh Genocide 1984 by holding an event on November 10, 2013. It is further learnt that Sikh author and historian S. Ajmer Singh, who is currently on visit to England, shall be participating in the event to be held at Gurdwara Guru Arjan Sahib Ji.

S. Ajmer Singh is author of an ongoing book series “Vehvin Sadi Di Sikh Rajneeti” (Sikh Politics of 20th Century), in which his recent book titled: “1984 – unimagined catastrophe” (in Punjabi) was on June and November 1984.

According to information available with the Sikh Siyasat News (SSN) S. Ajmer Singh has been invited to Gurdwara Guru Arjan Sahib Ji (Derby) by the Sikh sangat of Derby to share his views regarding the Sikh genocide of November 1984.

As per information S. Ajmer Singh shall address the Sikh sangat from 11 am to 01 pm (on November 10, 2013).

It is further learnt that the event shall have an interactive session as well and it shall provide an opportunity to the Sikh sangat ask questions or seek clarifications from S. Ajmer Singh.
