New Delhi: As per the media reports a joint delegation of Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC) and SAD (Badal) on Monday met Sikkim’s Chief Minister Pawan Chamling on the threat of demolition and disturbance in gurdwaras in Sikkim.

In brief meeting with CM the talks pertaining to the looming threat of demolition over Gurdwara Dangmar Sahib and Gurdwara Chungthang Sahib in Sikkim were held. The delegation reportedly demanded status quo of the religious places to solve the threat of demolition and disturbance, which may hurt the sentiments of the Sikhs all over the world.

Furthermore, while interacting with the media general secretary of the DSGMC Manjinder Singh Sirsa said the CM assured the existence of gurdwaras and also constituted a three-member committee to solve the issue.

The Badal Dal was represented by party MP Prem Singh Chandumajara, notes The Tribune (TT).
