Gunmen, Suicide Bombers Attack Gurdwara Sahib in Kabul; At least 4 reportedly Killed

Kabul, Afghanistan: As per reports emanating from Kabul (Afghanistan) unknown gunmen and suicide bombers have stormed a Sikh Gurdwara Sahib on Wednesday, the interior ministry said.

“Security forces had cordoned off the area located in old Kabul and are trying to counter the attack”, Interior Ministry spokesman Tariq Arian reportedly said in a message to journalists.

The shooting was continuing at the Gurdwara, the ministry said.

According to AlJazeera, Narindra Singh Khalsa, a parliamentarian from the minority Sikh community, told a news agency that ‘he had been near the Gurdwara when the attack happened and ran to the site. He said at least four people were killed’.

According a latest updates by PTI news agency 11 people are killed in this attack.
