Booked in Mahinderpal Bittu Case, Sikh Youth Granted Bail by High Court

Chandigarh: The Punjab and Haryana High Court has granted bail to Sikh youth Gursewak Singh Bhoot. Gursewak Singh was booked by Punjab police in a case related to the killing of Mahinderpal Bittu, one of the prime accused in the Bargari beadbi case. Mahinderpal Bittu was killed in Nabha jail on 22 June 2019. Gursewak Singh, along with two others, was booked by the police in connection with this case. All three individuals have been granted bail.

The news was confirmed by Panjaab Lawyers chief Advocate Jaspal Singh Manjhpur, who informed Sikh Siyasat News (SSN) about the development. Gursewak Singh is anticipated to be released from Faridkot jail in the coming days, once the necessary bail bonds are fulfilled.

The legal representation for Gursewak Singh during the bail application was provided by Advocate Puran Singh Hundal, said Advocate Jaspal Singh Manjhpur. He also highlighted the collaborative efforts involved in pursuing this case, noting the assistance provided by the Sikh Legal Assistance Board.
