Amritsar Sahib: It is learned that the Punjab Police on Thursday have booked atleast 11 persons under abatement to suicide law, in the suicide case of former vice-president of Chief Khalsa Diwan (CKD) Inderpreer Singh Chadha. He committed suicide on Wednesday evening.

The case of abatement to suicide has been registered under section 306 IPC and 120 -B has been registered on the complaint of Prabhpreet Singh ( s/o Inderpreet Singh )and on the basis of suicide note received from the car of the deceased.

Furthermore, apart from facing the ongoing embarrassment and stigma in a molestation case involving his father Charanjit Singh Chadha and Inderpreet Singh Chadha himself, it is also believed that a debit burden worth crores of rupees on Chadha family is also being considered as one of the reasons that compelled him to take such an extreme step.
