Amritsar: The World Sikh News (WSN) reported on 4 December 2023 that International Sikh Youth Federation (ISYF) leader Bhai Lakhbir Singh Rode passed away in Pakistan of heart failure on 2 November, where he was cremated as per Sikh tradition. He has been living there for the last many decades, WSN notes.
Dal Khalsa leader Kanwar Pal Singh, who knew Lakhbir Singh Rode intimately has expressed grief at his passing away. “His role and contribution towards the goal of Sikh independence will be ever remembered. Sadly, the stress of living in isolation has taken its toll”, Kanwarpal Singh reportedly told WSN.
