Judicial Custody of Bhai Daljeet Singh Bittu and others extended till 21 October in Mansa Case

Mansa (October 7, 2009) Mansa Magistrate here today extended the custody of Bhai Daljeet Singh Bittu and others for 14 more days, till October 21, 2009. Advocate Ajit Singh Bhangu informed SikhSiyasat Network over phone that police produced all Sikhs arrested or framed (after arrest in some other case) in Lilli Sharma Patwari murder case before the magistrate at Mansa Court Complex and the court extended their custody for 14 more days.

Police produced various persons arrested or framed in this case under tight security arrangements. Makhan Singh, Amirtpal Singh, Binder Singh, Gamdur Singh, Karan Singh, Gurbir Singh and Gurdeep Singh Raju were presented before the court in usual manner while police produced Bhai Daljeet Singh Bittu for just a while and then took him away separately. Even Bhai Bittu’s council did not get a chance to meet him and police kept Bhai Bittu out of reach of Media and member of Panch Pardhani as well as well-wishers of Bhai Bittu present in the court complex.
