Memorial Gurudwara Sahib Near Batala to Commemorate the Memory of Sant Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale & other Shaheeds

Batala: A faction of the Damdami Taksal led by Giani Ram Singh has constructed another memorial in the memory of ‘Great Sikh of 20th Century’ Sant Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale and other Shaheeds of Ghallughara June 1984 at Sangrawan village near Batala in Gurdaspur district.

Giani Ram Singh, head of the Damdami Taksal Sangrawan, said the construction of the memorial in the form of a Gurdwara Sahib is about to be completed and the Gurdwara Sahib will be inaugurated on June 6, the 33rd anniversary of Ghallughara June 1984.

In April 2013 a memorial Gurdwara Sahib in the memory of Sant Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale and other Shaheeds of Ghallughara June 1984 was inaugurated in Amritsar by Damdami Taksal Meta. Gurdwara Yaadgaar Singh Shaheedan is located with the precincts of the Darbar Sahib complex and is close to the place where Sant Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale had gained martyrdom.
