Chandigarh: This is audio version of a write-up authored by Dr. Sikandar Singh, Incharge of Punjabi Department, Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University, Fatehgarh Sahib. In this write-up Dr. Sikandar Singh analysed the order of Indian Supreme Court about the controversial Nanak Shah Fakir film.

Dr. Sikandar Singh has referred to the works of international scholars to high-light that how Indian state is treating struggling nationalities, minority groups, Dalits and down-trodden as ‘colonised subjects’ and the SCI order on the controversial film is manifestation of the fact that the Indian courts are working as the courts of a colonial power to dismantle the faith of a subjugated group (the Sikhs).
