Chandigarh/ Punjab (February 15, 2014): All India Sikh Students Federation (AISSF) has demanded that Punjab Chief Minister Prakash Singh Badal should clear all the allegations made against him about his role before and during the Indian army’s June 1984 attack on Darbar Sahib, Amritsar.

AISSF President Karnail Singh Peer Mohammad said that Punjab’s CM S.Prakash Singh Badal is given Panth Ratan by Shri Akal Takht Sahib which makes it very important that he explains and clear about the allegations made by state’s ex-CM Captain Amrinder Singh and others.

Revelations made by then Chandigarh IG Raghbir Singh and ex-RA&W officer B. Raman in his book about meetings between Akali leaders and Government representatives at Chandigarh guest house and later at RA&W’s guest house in Delhi respectively leaves impression that Akalis knew that the storming of the Darbar Sahib was inevitable, said he.

Karnail Singh Peer Mohammad also raised demand for setting up a Truth Commission for all incidents happened from 13 April 1978 till now.
