RSS is prime hindutva body with extremist tendencies. The rise of authoritarian extremism in India has become evident from the results of recently held Lok Sabha elections in which Hindu supremacist party Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP), backed by RSS, secured control over power set-up in India.
