Moga, Punjab: Renowned Punjabi novelist Jaswant Singh Kanwal passed away today.
He was 101 years old and was living at his native village Dhudike in Moga district.
His novels “Lahoo Di Lo”, “Khoon Ke Sohle Gaaviye Nanak”, “Pooranmashi” are very famous among Punjabi novel readers.
His recent book “Punjabi Jeena Ke Marna” was a call to people of Punjab to save civilisation of the land of five rivers.
