Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh (August 3, 2014):Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS)’s fascist agenda once again become visiting as during think-tank meeting of the HIndutva supremacist body in Bhopal while debating on the theory of Hindutva, RSS cheif Mohan Bhagwat in a controversial statement said that the RSS does not consider Jains, Sikhs and Buddhists as different from Hindus.
During the meeting, it was specifically pointed out that Jains, Sikhs and Buddhists cannot be considered minority communities because they were considered part of the Hindu society by RSS.
All attempts to categories these three religious groups as minority should be seen as a conspiracy. About 25 organisational ‘pracharaks’ gave their presentations on Saturday after which RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) international working president Praveen Togadia addressed the gathering of 190 saffron thinkers.
Togadia, however, asked BJP to implement its manifesto promise of constructing Ram Mandir, revoking article 370 from Kashmir and uniform civil code.
The Sikhs as well as Jains and Buddhists are fighting to maintain their unique identity amid the frequent charges by RSS in many ways. Moreover Indian Constitution’s Article 25 also clubs Sikhs, besides Jains and Buddhists with Hindus.
Despite being recognized as major world religions, followers of Sikh religion and Buddhism along with Jains have been denied separate personal law in India; and Hindu code is forcefully applied to them.
