Glasgow: Polling for Scotland independence referendum was held yesterday and counting of votes continues across the country. Live reports suggest that Scots have rejected the idea of independence with a margin of around 10%.

Out of 32 areas results have been declared for 31 with only four cities, including Glasgow, voting in favor of independence, while remaining 27 areas voted against it.

Votes counted so far show that 45% people have voted in favor of independence and 55% have voted against it.

Final result is yet to be declared but the lead of NO voters seem to be decisive.

The voting patterns suggest that the Scottish society was deeply divided on the matter of independence.
