Amritsar: The Shiromani Gurdwara Prabhandak Committee (SGPC) has announced to observe the Gurgaddi Gurpurab of Guru Har Rai ji as “Environment Day”.
“SGPC, Sri Amritsar is observing 13 Chet, Nanakshahi sammat 548 (March 26, 2017) as Environment Day at a large scale. Let us realise our responsibilities towards environment on this day and plant more and more trees to preserve our environment for future generations”, said SGPC chief Kirpal Singh Badungar.
