Chandigarh: Representatives of various Sikh organisations held a meeting a Chandigarh today to discuss the present situation related to hunger strike of Bapu Surat Singh Khalsa and the release of Sikh political prisoners.
Sikh bodies reportedly decided to hold a ‘Panthic Sanmelan’ (Sikh Conference) at Hassanpur, native village of Bapu Surat Singh Khalsa on May 10.
Sikh bodies also held a symbolic demonstration to express their support for Bapu Surat Singh Khalsa’s struggle for release of Sikh political prisoners jailed in India.
