Zira, April 19: Sikh Bodies of Zira area reportedly organized a protest march on April 15 in support of Bapu Surat Singh Khalsa’s struggle.
The march started from local Gurdwara Sahib after Ardas. A local Kavishri Jatha accompanied the march and informed Sikh youth about history of Sikh warriors.
The protest march concluded at Smalsar. Religious preachers including Gurwinder Singh Demro, Resham Singh Khukhrana, Hargobind Singh Korewala and Bhai Davinder Singh Hariyewala addressed the gathering and said that the Sikh nation should make efforts to form public movement in support of struggle for the release of Sikh political prisoners who have served minimum mandatory terms of their sentences.
