As per information available with “Sikh Siyasat” Advocate Kamna Vohra lawyer for the victims of November 1984 submitted a sworn affidavit of US based attorney Gurpatwant S. Pannun who represented witnesses late Giani Surinder Singh, Jasbir Singh and Resham Singh during CBI’s visit to USA in December 2008. Attorney Pannun’s sworn statement and attached evidence clearly shows that before granting clean chit to Tytler, the CBI team was aware of the additional witness Resham Singh who also claims to have seen Tytler leading a mob outside Gurudwara Pul Bangash in November 1984.

The evidence submitted in the court shows the CBI’s determination to give a Clean Chit to Tytler despite witness’s availability and repeated efforts to have the CBI record the statement of additional witnesses.

Karnail Singh Peermohammad President AISSF while leading the Justice Rally stated that CBI on the behest of Congress (I) is wearing out the witnesses of November 1984 by making them run from pillar to post for the last 27 years. Citing the name of late Giani Surinder Singh a prime witness against Tytler and Gurcharan Singh Rishi a witness against Sajjan Kumar, AISSF President stated that witnesses of November 1984 Sikh Genocide are dying one by one waiting for justice while perpetrators are being rewarded by Congress (I).

AISSF will follow with the Sentence Review Board which is reconsidering the commutation of Kishori Lal’s sentence. Mansha Singh who three sons were butchered by Kishori Lal stated that “commutation of Kishori Lal’s sentence will be the death of the Justice”.

On January 25, a USA based witnesses Resham Singh approached Additional Sessions Judge K S Pal requesting that his testimony about Tytler’s role in November 1984 killing of Sikhs should also be recorded. Resham Singh who used to drive Taxi in Delhi during November 1984, claims that on November 01, 1984 he saw Tytler leading a mob outside Gurudwara Pul Bangash in which three Sikhs were burnt alive and slogans “khoon ka badla khoon” were being raised.
