Chandigarh: S. Ajmer Singh is a Sikh historian and thinker. He analysed the contemporary situation of the Sikh panth in wake of recent incidents of repeated incidents of Beadbi of Guru Granth Sahib Ji in Punjab, and in this context, he analysed the role of political and religious Sikh leadership. He also expressed his opinion as the role played by the Panj Pyare who were doing Amrit Sanchar Sewa at the Akal Takhat Sahib.
This speech was delivered on February 06, 2015 at Gurdwara Shaheedan, village Jaitpur, Nawanshehr, Punjab during a samgam held by Panthic bodies to honor Bhai Satnam Singh Khanda and other four Singhs who, in their capacity as Panj Pyare of the Akal Takhat Sahib, had taken notice against decision of Sikh jathedars to pardon dera Sirsa chief against the collective will of the Sikh panth.
