Chandigarh: Aam Aadmi Party leaders leaders Sukhpal Khaira and Kanwar Sandhu today met ADGP Iqbal Preet Singh Sahota to seek action against Shiromani Akali Dal Badal workers in relation to Malout incident. Notably, SAD (Badal) and the Aam Aadmi Party workers had clashed in Malout during a rally by AAP leader and Sangrur MP Bhagwant Mann.
While addressing the media persons, journalist turned politician Kanwar Sandhu said that a delegation of AAP had fixed appointment with Punjab DGP Suresh Arora but he was not available due to some other engagements. “We met IPS Sahota and appeased him about the incident. We have sought SIT probe in to the incident and registration of a case against SAD (Badal) activists”, he added.
