Survivors Return to Auschwitz for Marking 75th Anniversary of Holocaust

Around 200 survivors returned to Auschwitz to attend a memorial event today. Delegates from 50 countries also attended the memorial event.

Deny consitutional releif SAD (Panch Pardhani): Govt urges HC

Chandigarh/ Ludhiana (June 04, 2010): During the hearing on a petition moved by Shiromani Akali Dal (Panch Pardhani) in Punjab and High Court to seek judicial relief against ban on “Holocaust memorial march” imposed by Punjab Government, State's counsel raised serious objections and claimed that Panch Pardhani is not entitled to receive any sort of relief under Indian Constitution, as it adhere to the ideology of Khalistan.

Heavy police deployment at Chapparchiri to prevent Sikhs’ Memorial March

Mohali (May 31, 2010): Punjab Police personnel, in large numbers, are deployed at historic ground of Chapparchiri, in wake of March call by Sikh nationalist party, Shiromani Akali Dal (Panch Pardhani). Panch Pardhani, that adopts democratic course to pursue Sikh cause, has announced to organize a “Holocaust Memorial March” to mark 26th anniversary of Third Holocaust of Sikh History.
