Tributes paid to Mother of Sikh Political Prisoners Bhai Daya Singh Lahoria

Sangrur: Various Sikh leaders paid tribute to Mata Ishar Kaur, mother of Sikh political prisoner Bhai Daya Singh Lahoria at village Kasba Bhural, near Sandaur on Sunday (Sept. 24). Bhai Daya Singh was brought to the village to attend the Antim Ardas of his mother from Tihar jail under tight security. Bhai Daya Singh reached the venue at around 1 pm. The area was turned in a police camp in wake of the Samagam.

Besides Bhai Jagtar Singh Hawara and other Sikh political prisoners confined in Jails, Shiromani Akali Dal (Badal) MP Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa, Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC) chief Manjeet Singh G.K., Baba Daler Singh Kheriwale also send their condolence messages expressing sympathies with Bhai Daya Singh Lahoria.

Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) chief Simranjeet Singh Mann, Bhai Dhian Singh Mand, Karnail Singh Panjoli, Jasvir Singh Rode, Bibi Pritam Kaur, Advo. Amar Singh Chahal, Bhai Satnam Singh Kahnda, Dal Khalsa chief Advo. Harpal Singh Cheema, Amrik Singh Issru, Jasvir Singh Khandoor and Kumikker Singh were prominent among those present in the samagam.
