Amritsar, Punjab: Dal Khalsa spokesperson Kanwar Pal Singh has asked Harinder Sikka, maker of the controversial Nanak Shah Fakir movie to ‘withdraw’ his film. Speaking to media persons, the Dal Khalsa leader said that Harinder Sikka’s film violates basic tenets of the Sikh panth and it can not be allowed for screening. He said just Punjab government’s ban (if installed) can not serve the purpose as the movie may still be screened in other parts of the Indian subcontinent and foreign countries. He said Harinder Sikka should feel the onus that he is going to commit massive disrespect towards Guru Sahib, so he should step back and withdraw his film.
