Aam Aadmi Party candidate Jassi Jasraj complains to Arvind Kejriwal against Sumel Singh Sidhu

Bathinda, Punjab (May 22, 2014): Singer- cum- actor -turned- politician and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP)’s candidate from Bathinda Lok Sabha seat Jasraj Singh Longia alias Jassi Jasraj has sent a complaint to party president Arvind Kejriwal expressing resentment against the activities of the party’s state convener Sumel Singh Sidhu during the election campaigning.

“I was left alone in Bathinda. The party’s state unit did not back me during elections. Sumel Sidhu hardly came to Bathinda”, Jassi Jasraj reportedly said in his complaint.

“Bathinda was as important in Punjab as Varanasi was in India. But Kejriwal was kept in dark. He visited Sangrur but his route programme was cleverly diverted from Bathinda by some members of the state unit as it would have surely turned things in my favour,” said Jasraj.

“Now the party has won four seats and there are many people coming forward to claim the credit. These people were nowhere when we were fighting on the ground,” said Jassi.

Sumel Singh Sidhu, a leftist ideologue, was appoint poll-convenor of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in Punjab.
