Anandpur Sahib seat witnessed triangular contest; Chandumajra beats Congress and AAP candidates

Anandpur Sahib, Punjab (May 16, 2014): Anandpur Sahib seat witnessed a triangular fight in Lok Sabha Elections 2014. Prem Singh Chandumajra of Punjab’s ruling party, Shiromani Akali Dal (Badal) won the contest by securing 3,47,394 votes.

Ambika Soni of Congress party secured 3,23,697 votes, whereas Aam Aadmi Party (AAP)’s Himmat Singh Shergill secured 3,06,008 votes.
