Capt. Amarinder seeks Congress high command permission to fight Badal from Lambi

Amritsar, January 14: Punjab Congress chief Captain Amarinder has sought the party high command’s permission to fight the coming assembly elections from Parkash Singh Badal’s constituency of Lambi.

Captain Amarinder disclosed this at Amritsar during a media conference called to welcome into the Congress fold prominent former AAP leader Dr. Daljit Singh.

The Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee (PPCC) president said he wanted to fight the chief minister on his home turf of Lambi as he wanted to defeat all the top Badal Dal leader.

Responding to a question, he said he would fight both Lambi and Patiala, if permitted by the Congress high command.
