New Delhi: The Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) was being labeled as hub of “seditious activities” and “anti-nationals” by some Hindutva outfits for past few weeks. It is yet to be determined that how many people have actually accepted such labelling of the JNU due to Hindutva propaganda but it seems that Internet giant Google has taken a note.

It has come into light that Google Maps search for keywords “sedition” and “anti-national” lead to Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU).
The issue has worried many students and teachers of the university as it is being seen as a harm to the image of the institution that is known for echoing democratic dissent.
