Toronto, Canada (June 11, 2014): According to information available with the Sikh Siyasat News (SSN) the Sikh sangat of Toronto organized a “Kesri car rally” to mark 30th anniversary of army attack on Dabar Sahib complex in Amritsar and other Sikh gurdwaras in Punjab and adjoining states.
Indian Army’s attack on Sikh Gurdwaras in June 1984 was code-named as “Operation Blue Star”. This attack is regarded as the beginning of 3rd major Ghallughara (holocaust) of the Sikh history.
As per information the Sikh organizations of Toronto organized a “KESRI CAR RALLY” on 7th of June 2014. The Rally started from Woodbine Mall at 12:30 pm and it passed through various places covering various Sikh Gurudwaras of Brampton and city of Mississauga.

As per information extended to the Sikh Siyasat News by the organizers of the Kesri Car Rally, it procession passed visited Shri Guru singh Sabha Malton (Missisauga), Gurudwara Jot Prakash (Brampton), Gurudwara Guru Nanak Mission Centre (Brampton) and Sri Guru Nanak Sikh Centre (Brampton) before ending at 4:00 pm at Gurudwara Ontario Khalsa Darbar Dixie Rd Mississauga.
Sikh sangat at every Gurudwara welcomed the rally. Around 100 cars took part in rally and every Car had “Khalistan” and Canadian Flag on it.
Eight Harley Davidson Motorcycles were leading. The discipline in rally was remarkable.
Local sources told Sikh Siyasat News (SSN) that a sovereignty conference held at Dixie Gurudwara after the rally ended at Dixie Gurudwara Sahib. The conference was addressed by S. Jagmeet Singh MPP (Bramlea Gore Malton), S. Sukhminder Singh Hansra , S. Satnam Singh and S. Avtar Singh Punia.
