Aam Aadmi Party Appoints 2 District and 5 Halqa Presidents in Punjab

Chandigarh: The trouble torn Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) today announced to appoint 2 district presidents and five halqa presidents in Punjab. Two days back 16 party leaders, including some district chiefs, quit their posts on Sunday to register their protest against state co-president Dr Balbir Singh’s alleged arbitrary decisions in the state.

In a release issued today AAP state co-president Dr. Balbir Singh said that replacing Jagdeep Singh Sandhu, Jagdev Singh Bam has been appointed as Sri Mukatsar Sahib dist. president while Dev Raj Sharma will has been given the responaiblity of dist. president Fazilka in place of Samarbir Singh Sidhu.

He said that Iqbal Singh Khirkianwala (Gidderbaha), Jaswinder Singh Singhewala (Lambi), Jaspinder Singh Jakhar (Abohar), Bant Singh (Rajpura) and Sweety Sharma (Dera Bassi) have been appointed as halqa presidents.
