Brampton City Election: Gurpreet Singh Dhillon Thanks Supporters After Victory

BRAMPTON, ON: Newly elected Wards 9 & 10 Regional Councillor Gurpreet Singh Dhillon has extended his thanks to voters after his decisive victory in the October 22nd municipal election.

“I am deeply humbled that the residents of Wards 9 & 10 have given me the opportunity to serve them once again, this time as their Regional Councillor. Over the past 4 years I have worked closely with constituents to provide results, and will continue to be a strong voice for them going forward.”

Gurpreet Singh Dhillon posted the largest margin of victory (56%), and the highest total vote out of all Councillors across all wards, and attests the strong showing to his close working relationship with constituents.

“This victory was a testament to hard work, honesty, and the excellent rapport we have built over the past 4 years with the community,” said Gurpreet Singh. “Though we have achieved a lot, there is much more work to be done.”

“Work has already begun to implement my 5-point plan.”

As per the City of Brampton’s schedule, the oath of office ceremony will take place on December 3rd, at 8pm. Due to construction in Council chambers the location has yet to be determined.
