“Does the Aam Aadmi Party support the demand for a referendum plebiscite in Jammu and Kashmir? How does it distinguish itself from that demand, and if it does, does it not put them in the same category as the All Party Hurriyat Conference and various other pro-Pakistani groups, who have been demanding a referendum in the Valley?” Congress leader Manish Tewari said.

Arvind Kejriwal has reportedly written to Delhi’s Urban Development Department to explore how a Greece-style referendum can be held in India’s capital on the issue of full statehood.
