Counter Intelligence of Punjab police arrests 3 alleged KZF members

Amritsar: The Counter-Intelligence wing of the Punjab Police yesterday claimed to arrest of three persons allegedly linked to the Khalistan Zindabad Force (KZF).

Arrested persons in police custody

Those arrested were identified as Gurpal Singh alias Pala of Jalalpur Kalan (Jalandhar), Major Singh, who hails from Karnal (Haryana) and now resides at Dera Gurdwara Guruana Sahib, Veronangal village, and Rachhpal Singh of Jalalabad (Fazilka) who lives at Khuda Ali Sher near Chandigarh.

IG Counter-Intelligence MF Farooqui maintained during a press conference that the arrested persons were linked to the Khalistan Zindabad Force (KZF) also having links with Pakistani and other foreign-based outfits.

Farooqui further alleged that Major Singh had links with some persons based in Belgium, England and Pakistan, including Ranjit Singh Neeta and other KZF members.

The police also maintained to have recovered some arms and ammunition from Major Singh.
