Chandigarh: Punjabi film actor cum activist Deep Sidhu died in a road accident on KMP road on February 15. As per media reports a Scorpio car which Deep Sidhu was driving struck with a truck from behind. The driver side of car was badly damaged in this accident.

Deep Sidhu had gained prominence during the farmers protest. He had organised Shambhu Morcha at Shambhu Barrier on Punjab-Haryana border near Rajpura before farmers marched to Delhi on November 26, 2020. He had considerable appeal among Sikh activist circles.
As per media reports Deep Sidhu’s Antim Sanskar will be held today (February 16) at 5 pm at village Tharike near Ludhiana.
Some Sikh activist sections have called for impartial investigation expressing suspicion over circumstances surrounding Deep Sidhu’s death.
