Delhi Resident Caught Committing Beadbi of Gurbani inside Darbar Sahib Complex

Amritsar: A person was caught committing beadbi of Gurbani inside the Darbar Sahib complex. As per reports, Jetinder Chadha s/o Ashok Kumar Chadha, resident of Yamuna Vihar, New Delhi tore off ‘angs’ of a Sukhmani Sahib gutka near to a Chhabil inside the Darbar Sahib complex.

The culprit was reportedly captured by the SGPC task force and sewadars. He was later handed over to the Amritsar police. The police has reportedly booked Jatinder Chadda under section 295A of the Indian Penal Code.

The police maintains that the accused was ‘semi-mental’, but the Sikh sangat has rejected the police claims demanding thorough investigation in this matter.

Soon after getting information of this matter Bhai Amrik Singh Ajnala, chief of Damdami Taksal (Ajnala) reportedly went to Kotwali police station and spoke with Amritsar Police commissioner G. Nageswara Rao. Bhai Amrik Singh Ajnala insisted on meeting the accused but the Amritsar police did not grant him permissions to see the accused.

Speaking to media persons Bhai Amrik Singh Ajnala rejected the police claims that the accused was semi-mental. He said that the incident of beadbi was intolerable for the Sikh sangat and police should unearthed the conspiracy behind it.
