Advocate Jaspal Singh Manjhpur maintained that prima facie it was a just a proxy case and the police seems to be interested to interrogate Bhai Harminder Singh Minttoo in relation to some other cases/incidents.

“This is clearly a proxy case as even the police and jail records show that Bhai Harminder Singh Minttoo was already in jail on the day when the incident realted to this case took place”.

“How a person could participate in alleged ‘attempt to murder’ at Doraha when he is confined in Nabha jail?” he asked.

Next court hearing in this case is on March 31.
