Chandigarh: The Punjab State Scheduled Castes Commission has taken a suo-moto notice of incident of defaced of statue of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar in Rajpura.

Ms Tejinder Kaur Chairperson of the commission said that a statue of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar defaced on saturday night in rajpura. The commission has sought a detailed report from Deputy Commissioner and Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Patiala by September 20, 2019.
