Amritsar, Punjab: Even after appeals of the Sikh organizations to all sections of the society to support the Punjab bandh call to protest against denial of justice to the victims of November 1984 Sikh Genocide, some Hindu organisations took to streets to protest against the Punjab Bandh call.
After the arrest of Sikh activists including AISSF president Karnail Singh Peermohammad and Sikh Genocide survivor Bibi Jagdish Kaur by Amritsar police, members of various Hindu organizations took out a march in Amritsar city to protest against Punjab shutdown call by victims of Sikh genocide 1984.
As per reports members of Hindu organizations marched towards Hall Gate in Amritsar city to protest against the bandh. They were reportedly stopped by the police and were later asked to go back.
