Sydney, Australia (October 31, 2012): It is learnt that Australian MP, the Hon Warren Entsch, who is going to present a petition seeking recognition for the Sikh Genocide 1984, has talked to SBS Radio (Punjabi).
“Mr Entsch, a Liberal Party MP and the Chief Opposition Whip, has spoken to SBS Punjabi program today about why this is important, even 28 years after the tragedy” – SBS Radio.
He emphasized that November 1984 massacres of Sikhs throughout India that were carried out in a systematic manner were an act of Genocide and thus should be so recognized.
