Jagtar Singh Johal Gets Bail in Baghapurana (Moga) Case After 3 Years

New Delhi: Scottish citizen Jagtar Singh Johal was today granted bail by Punjab and Haryana High court in Baghapurana (Moga) Case. Jagtar Singh, commonly known as Jaggi Johal, was picked by Punjab police up from Ramamandi (Jalandhar) on 4 November 2017. Police later recorded his arrested in FIR number 193/2016 (police station Baghapurana).

Advocate Jaspal Singh Manjhpur told Sikh Siyasat News (SSN) over phone that the court of Justice Anupinder Singh Grewal granted bail to Jagtar Singh Jaggi Johal today.

He said that the bail application was earlier moved in Sessions court Moga and after that court dismissed the bail application, bail was applied in Punjab and Haryana High Court. In the High Court the bail application was argued by Advocate Mandeep Kaushik, said Advo. Manjhpur.

Jagtar Singh Jaggi Johal is presently confined in Central Jail No. 1, Tihar, New Delhi. He is already discharged in one case and 8 NIA cases are pending against him.
