Mann Dal holds samagam in Bargari: Announces to hold demonstrations outside jails from Dec 17

Faridkot: Shiromani Akali Dal Amritsar (Mann) held a samagam at Bargari village on December 15. The samagam was attended by party activists and the local Sikh sangat.

The gathering resolved to identify the culprits responsible for beadbi of Guru Granth Sahib. It also resolved to secure legal action against police officials responsible for Behbal Kalan firing incident in which two Sikhs were killed by the police.

SAD (Mann) also announced to hold protest demonstrations outside different jails in Punjab demanding release of Bhai Jagtar Singh Hawara (appointed as Jathedar of Akal Takhat Sahib by organisers of the Sarbat Khalsa 2015), Bhai Dhian Singh Mand (acting jathedar of Akal Takhat Sahib), Bhai Amrik Singh Ajnala (jatehdar of Takhat Damdama Sahib), Bhai Baljit Singh Daduwal (jatehdar of Takhat Damdama Sahib), UAD chief Mohkam Singh, Gurdeep Singh Bathinda, Jaskaran Singh Kahan Singh Wala, Wassan Singh Zaffarwal and others.

The party led by S. Simranjeet Singh Mann announced that a group of 25 persons would hold protest demonstration outside Nabha jail, Hoshiarpur jail and Kapurthala jail from 11 am to 4 pm from 17 Dec. 2015. The resolutions passed during Bargari samagam said that next strategy would be announced during Shaheedi conference to be held at Fatehgarh Sahib in the memory of martyrdom of Sahibzadas.
